Weatherization

ACCES organizations leverage resources from more than half a dozen funding sources to provide home repairs known as weatherization throughout California . Member organizations throughout California install insulation, dual-paned windows and sliding glass doors, weather-stripping, energy star appliances, CFL light bulbs, low-flow showerheads, and heating and cooling appliances in thousands of households every year.

These measures not only improve a home’s energy efficiency and lower utility bills, they also contribute to reducing the carbon footprint, while working towards clean and affordable energy for low-income communities.
